General Manager of Manufacturing-responsible for all aspects of design, manufacture, assembly, debug, and operation of all company activities. Specific responsibilities include direct supervision of all technical support staff, approval of all design and detail manufacturing drawings, approval of outsource vendors, operation of laboratory and machine shop,. General responsibilities include day to day supervision and operation of all laboratory, machine shop, and facility activities.

Mechanical Technology, Inc. 1979-1995

Laboratory Supervisor, Core Technology Division-responsible for laboratory support and direct supervision of technician pool of up to 15 employees.

Technician, Core Technology Division-responsible for build up, debug, operation, data acquisition and data reduction of complicated, high tech test rigs in an R & D environment. Specific duties included part manufacture and modify, mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, power and instrumentation wiring, hydraulic and pneumatic plumbing, instrumentation calibration and implementation, data verification, data reduction.

Automation Equipment Operation-journeyman toolmaker, jigs and fixtures. Responsible for manufacture of tooling to produce and components of high speed automated manufacture and assembly equipment, using all standard machine tools and processes.
